Addendum to The Table Maker

The Table Maker suggested that I could document how he actually put these tables together and point out that he had a great time 'distressing' the wood to his taste.

He takes screws and nails, laid on their sides and bashes them in just slightly to give the impression of rusticity!

He also takes the saw and gives it a 'nudge' with the hammer to leave marks on the legs and tops of the tables.

He was delighted to find Kreg tool supplies sold here too so he could screw the table together.

Notice the 'marks' on the leg before staining...

and after.

Once the table is set in the designated room it isn't noticeable, much.
