Home . . .

"Every traveler has a home of his own,
and he learns to appreciate it
the more from his wandering."
-Charles Dickens

For at least 20 minutes tonight on the home-coming ferry we watched in delight and amazement as orcas swam nearby on every side of the boat.  They appeared to be having a lot of fun.  It was pretty dark to be getting photos as you can see by the sunset at the end of the trip.

    1. Thought of you while I watched them...they roll and tumble and dance and seem to have a great delight in life.

    2. And they did turn out in full force...never have I seen them all around me. Sherwin talked to a young man who said that just a day or so before when he was coming home in the evening, the orcas played in the wake behind the ferry...they are such a delight to watch.

If I fell in though, would they eat me alive?!?!
