For Those Who Follow...

"Take up our quarrel with the foe:

To you from falling hands we throw

The torch; be yours to hold it high.

These last lines of the famous "In Flanders Fields" speak to me of more than wars and battles between nations but of the larger battle that touches all of us.

Today I am remembering not only men and women who fought in the name of Freedom but those who have come before us teaching and leading.
