Just For The Joy Of It . . .

There is so much joy in coming home to some blossoms in January/February . . .

. . . this one is on my little Camellia tree that I transplanted in the fall to a new and improved spot in my yard.  And this is my reward.

Yesterday was the first day I actually felt like going out since I fell into this flu thingy!  But we are both on the mend and we will soon take another road trip south.

As I walked around the yard. delighting in the new growth on the roses and the blossoms about to bloom on some bushes I was reminded of all the joy I have received in my gardens here.

Every day, look for a piece of joy around you.  Look to see the small details that are present for the refreshing of our souls!

"No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it.
Those that seek find.
For those who knock it is opened."

  1. I love this post--we do need to look for joy every day and when we do it is always there. I was just looking out in my back yard and noticed the buds on some of my bushes--I want some sunshine so I can get out and do some spring clean up!!! I have been given an extra camera that Rick had so now I am going to try taking some photos!! I always love the ones you and Sherwin post on your blogs!!!

    1. Thanks for stopping by...I did have great plans for doing so much outside while we are home for a few weeks but so far my body hasn't agreed to that plan...hurrumph!

Joy is a wonderful thing...free and accessible to all. You stay well!
