Something To Think About . . .

"Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy:  they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom."
-Marcel Proust

It has been said that every day we should seek out six people for the following reasons:

1. someone to love

"Love is the condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own."
- Robert Heinlein

2. someone to thank

"Some of you are eternal doormen holding the door open for those who are headed out into greatness.  I thank you for that."
- Darnell L. Walker

3. someone to be grateful for

"We must find time to stop and thank people who make a difference in our lives."

4. someone to forgive

"Cry.  Forgive.  Learn.  Let your tears
water the seeds of your future happiness."
-Steve Maraboli

5. someone to forget

"All discarded lovers should be given a second chance, but with somebody else."
- Mae West

6. someone to admire

"I don't admire the person who does what they want to do.  I admire the person who does what they're afraid to do."
- Donna Lynn Hope

There you have it...a list of six different people for you to reach out and touch.  Or those six reasons could apply to fewer than six...think about this.

Now go, go.  Find your people.

And be well.

  1. Great post. I'll let you know how I do.

  2. Can you imagine if you really had to seek out someone to forget, every day? Even the forgive seems a bit steep, but forgetting? Pretty soon one might find themselves completely alone...

    Good sentiments, tho.

    1. Well, if you actually had to seek someone out to forget or forgive Every day, one would say you have had a bit of a wild ride in this life!! I like the list because it makes me think...where I have been, and where I think I am going.

Thanks for stopping by. I like to hear feedback from 'my' people!
