Mid-Week Memory
The Prairie As I Remember It...
Flat bottomed clouds scudding overhead
Sweet smell of grasses
Car rides with you-know-who
Breezes flipping my skirt
Soft, soft sunshine
Dusty roads
Bees buzzing
Cows lowing
So good to remember
When I cannot go back.
